Sustainability

Sustainability is a key topic for us to consider and make sure that we do our best to protect the town, surrounding areas and the wider environment during the event.  When most think of aeroplanes the immediate thought is that they are the biggest issue in terms of an airshow, in fact a number of research projects conclude that the aircraft are one of the lowest contributors at around 3-5% of the total emissions, with the largest impact being transport of visitors to the show and waste.

We are committed to thinking smartly on the subject and continue to look at ways to ensure we respect the environment and reduce our carbon footprint to as little as is reasonably possible.
